Transfer Methods

MassiveMusic will send your reports to one of the following three locations:

  1. SFTP/FTP
  2. Amazon S3 bucket
  3. Email address\

*PPK files must be version 2 or below only\

Email delivery: limits and best practice

  • MassiveMusic can only send small text file reports via email with a size less than 5MB.
  • Some email servers block attachments of any size - please check with your administrator if you’re thinking about using this method.
  • When using email delivery, please provide us with a shared email address (e.g. [email protected]). Relying on a private email address like [email protected] could result in missed reports when an employee leaves and their email address is deactivated.\

FTP/SFTP IP address whitelisting

If your SFTP requires an IP address to whitelist, let us know and we can provide that for you.\

FTP/SFTP ppk files

PPK files need to be version 2 or below.\

S3 bucket secret access keys: no “+” characters

Please ensure the S3 bucket secret access key does not contain any “+” characters - our system cannot accept keys containing them. This may mean you need to create keys until a suitable one is generated.\

Need your reports, but don’t have a delivery method yet?

Our reports are generated and stored internally when not being delivered. If your company is still setting up your transfer location, but in the short-term you still need your reports, we can temporarily store them in a private google drive folder and send you the location.

What to do if your details change?

If your delivery details change, please resubmit the new details in full using the table above as a reference. Even if only one element is changing, giving us the full set of details will help us test the new connection and get the change implemented much quicker.
